Bio

Sophomore middle blocker Kaylee Roman joins Wallace State from Deltona, Florida, where she starred at Pine Ridge High School. Roman began playing volleyball during her junior year of high school and quickly became a difference-maker, helping her team capture back-to-back district championships. She was drawn to Wallace State because of the program’s dedication and commitment to excellence, values that match her own approach as a student-athlete. Inspired by her mom and her own determination, Roman balances strong academics with the demands of college volleyball and embraces the mindset of working hard and taking things day by day. Her goals include earning an opportunity to play at the next level and helping Wallace State capture a conference title. On game days, she thrives in 6-on-6 drills, gets locked in with a pregame talk, and finds motivation in her favorite hype song, “Love” by Keyshia Cole.
