Bio
Freshman middle hitter Cheyenne Lucas brings her trademark hustle and energy to the Wallace State volleyball program as a freshman opposite hitter from Brewer High School. She first picked up the sport in 8th grade and was drawn to Wallace State by the success of its program and the people who make it special. Influenced most by her parents, Lucas prides herself on finding balance, staying focused, and always giving full effort—believing that anything less is only cheating yourself. Away from the court, she enjoys softball, arts and crafts, and caring for her goats, chickens, and pigs. Known for her talkative personality, she thrives in scrimmages and prepares for competition by blocking out distractions and locking in on the game. Lucas’s goals include doing whatever she can to benefit the team while continuing her academic and athletic career at the next level.
