Freshman Jazmin Conn began playing golf in the fourth grade, and she quickly developed a passion for the sport that has carried her into her first collegiate season. A standout at Cullman High School, Conn’s proudest prep memory came in 2023 when she helped her team reach the state tournament for the first time in 18 years.

She chose Wallace State for the new opportunities it provides both on and off the course. Her father has been her biggest influence, and her goals this season are to improve her game while building a strong bond with her teammates. Conn has a unique superstition—she begins every round with a brand new golf ball—and she prepares by taking a quiet moment to pray before each tournament.

Known by her peers as witty, Conn describes her favorite professional athlete as Viktor Hovland, admiring his positive energy and sense of humor. Off the course, she is an only child who enjoys Alabama football, colorguard, art, and music. Looking ahead, she hopes to move out west to either maintain a golf course or become a swing coach.

Conn wants to be remembered as someone who was always positive, living by her motto: “Live in the moment.”
