Ticket Punched: Lions Headed to Hutch for Fifth Time in School History
Wallace State men's basketball has punched their ticket to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national tournament in Hutchinson, KS. The Lions earned the #22 seed and will face the #11 seed Frank Phillips College Plainsmen. The game will take place at 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 23 at the Hutchinson Sports Center and will be televised on ESPN+.
Wallace State is making their second consecutive National Tournament appearance and fifth overall.

The Plainsmen finished the season 24-8 overall and had an 11-5 conference record in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC). They were selected as an at-large team after losing in the semifinals of the Region V tournament to McLennan Community College. They are making their first National Tournament appearance since 1958.
