Head Cheerleading Coach
Stefany Pate was named Wallace State’s new cheerleading coach in April 2016, replacing long-time coach Rob Metcalf who led the Wallace State Cheerleaders for 22 years.
Pate, 27, who also works at the Wallace State Burrow Center, cheered for the Lions for two seasons as a Wallace State student. The squad finished national runner-up during Pate’s first season (2011) as a student.
Pate also cheered for Bevill State before transferring to Wallace State.
Pate, a Locust Fork native, earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Management from UAB and is currently pursuing her master’s degree there.
